I started the day with Megan getting ready. She was a confident bride who opted to do her own hair and makeup, which turned out great. Her big ballroom dress was beyond stunning!
Aaron and Megan are such a beautiful and sweet couple. Their emotions throughout the day really showed me just how happy they are together and how happy they were to marry one another. The couple traveled to Costa Rica from Washington State. The were joined by a small group of family and friends, but just because the group was small it didn't mean that the celebration wasn't big. Aaron and Megan's son was also attending the wedding, I loved the way this couple was able to balance the importance of having their child there against the importance of this day really being about the two of them. I started the day with Megan getting ready. She was a confident bride who opted to do her own hair and makeup, which turned out great. Her big ballroom dress was beyond stunning! Sometime before Megan put on her beautiful dress I popped over to the guys room where Aaron was getting ready. He was calm and cool and looked great in his slate blue suit. The ceremony was held in the garden area in front of Villa Pelicano. It was an intimate space that worked perfectly for this couple's small group. A friend who traveled with them ministered the ceremony and kindly spoke about the couple and their relationship with one another and their relationship with God. Tears welled up Megan's eyes and once they started rolling down her cheeks they could not be stopped. After the ceremony we headed down to the beach with just the newlyweds their baby boy and a baby helper. It was still very gloomy out, but the contrast of the jungle and the misty beach was beautiful. Back at the house the dinner table was ready and waiting. The newlyweds joined in with a first dance before sitting down for speeches.
