To be young and in love, what a great thing. Kailen and Kaleb were married on a hilltop behind their church with views overlooking a gorgeous mountain range. What I really loved about this is that they were able to have an outdoor wedding, yet still include their church, which was very important to them. The reception was also held on the hilltop which was so convenient for everyone. The giggly girls got ready at the church. If Kailen was nervous as all she did a great job hiding it. I absolutely love this picture of Kaleb seeing his bride for the very first time. We drove about 5 minutes to this beautiful reservoir to take some portraits of the newlyweds. Gerardo and his wife Sara did a great job getting the party started. The interesting thing is that Gerardo is Costa Rican! When we realized this we had a mini freak-out pura vida party. What a small world. Photography: Yours Truly

They currently live in Dubai, where Becky teaches and Trevor is a world class chef. Their family and friends joined them to celebrate their marriage from all over the world, literally. It was so amazing to see the great support they had from so many different people, and different cultures. As a groomsmen gift Trevor has custom shades made with the flag of each country of their perspective owners. The ceremony was held on the rooftop porch of Casa de las Brisas. It provided for a beautiful view of the pacific ocean. I don't normally post a sequence of photos like this, but these are just too great not to share. These are the photos of the couple right after they were pronounced husband and wife. The sheer joy and excitement on Becky's face brings tears to my eyes every time I look through them. Many of the detail in this wedding were all handmade by the bride, including these beautiful fabric flower bouquets with brooches. Becky even made matching flower arrangement for the ceremony arch. The ceremony time was pushed back as we were waiting for the rain to stop, so by the time portraits rolled around it was completely dark out. Luckily we were still able to get some great shots. While the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, Chelsea, from Oasis events, and her team quickly transformed the ceremony area into a beautiful sit down dinner reception. Photography: Yours Truly

We has planned to do a sunset shoot the evening before, but due to rain we did an early morning session instead. Anne is actually a photographer herself. I was excited to be able to take photos of her, as she normally is not in a lot of her family photos she takes.
